Brown Family: Lexington, TN family photographer / by Stephanie Mullins

I have a pretty big soft spot for this family.  Not just because they are actually family to me, but because they are my oldest clients.  I did a lot of training and testing on these sweet girls while in photography school, and even when I was refusing to do portraits and just focusing on my commercial accounts, the Brown's always found their way in front of my lens.  Tonight I got a little teary eyed editing this session.  When you look at someone through a lens you see them differently, I am not sure how to explain that, but its like studying someone that doesn't know your looking.  Its when I notice how much children look like their parents, and who gets to take credit for the eyes or the beautiful smile that kid is giving me.  This session was different, I see them on a pretty regular basis, but tonight I really saw them for the first time in a while and I realized that at some point these little girls that I have been shooting since birth have grown up to be absolutely beautiful young ladies.  No worries, their parents are in the pictures to so that you can see the awesome couple that has raised these girls that I have been rambling on about.  I hope you enjoy looking at these as much as I have.  Enjoy
